Governor will Veto Controversial License Proposal

In response to pressure from the media, the Governor of Mississippi, Haley Barbour, declared on Monday, Feb. 21 that he will not sign a proposal of a law that will allow the creation of a state-issued license plate to honor a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, Nathan Bedford Forrest.
